JCR Planning has been instructed to undertake a pre-application consultation in respect of a proposed development as required by the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure)(Wales)(Amendment) Order 2016.

The application relates to land to the north of Hayes Road, Sully, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 5ZE, which was previously occupied by Zeon Chemicals Europe Limited and measures 0.6 hectares. 

It is proposed to establish:-

  • a fabricating workshop building for B2/B8 uses
  • a waste recycling and transfer station

The proposed scheme would utilise the existing vehicular access point from Hayes Road.

JCR Planning has been instructed to undertake a pre-application consultation in respect of a proposed development as required by the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure)(Wales)(Amendment) Order 2016.

The application relates to land at the former NHS Central Production Unit at Heol Goffa, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA15 3EJ, which previously functioned as a central NHS catering facility for the region.

This site currently comprises two distinct buildings, (a former office block and loading bay), plus additional small service buildings. A B2 industrial incinerator with a pollution disposal chimney also operated at the site.

The proposal is to demolish all buildings on site and to construct 2 no. three storey apartment blocks, containing a total of 18 no. residential units (12 no. two-bedroom flats and 6 no. affordable single bedroom flats) and to provide 21 no. car parking spaces, a cycle and refuse store, and associated landscaping and highway works. 

The site measures approximately 0.26 hectares and has an extant, but possibly unimplemented, planning permission for a C2 residential training centre.
